This role focuses on building and scaling the core data platform that powers critical operational workflows, with a strong emphasis on pipelines, data integrity, and system reliability. You’ll have the opportunity to design and optimize data models, own end-to-end data flows, and ensure accuracy through robust reconciliation and monitoring processes. The position involves integrating multiple external systems and transforming fragmented data into a reliable source of truth. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to translate real-world operations into scalable, well-structured systems. This is a high-impact role with strong ownership and the ability to shape how data drives decision-making across the organization.

5+ years in Data Engineering

Strong experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines.

Proficiency in SQL and data warehouses such as BigQuery.

Proven ability to write, optimize, and manage complex queries over large and evolving datasets.

Solid experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes across multiple data sources.

Strong backend engineering skills, with experience building APIs, background jobs, and services that support data workflows.

Hands-on experience integrating third-party systems using APIs, webhooks, or other data exchange mechanisms.

Experience designing and implementing data reconciliation and validation processes to ensure data accuracy.

Strong focus on monitoring, logging, and observability to maintain system health and pipeline reliability.

Ability to take end-to-end ownership of data systems and translate operational processes into scalable solutions.

Every job requires English proficiency, being based in LATAM.

Bonus Skills

Experience working with event-driven architectures, message queues, or asynchronous data processing systems.

Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling, including schema design and performance optimization.

Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript to support internal tools when needed.

Experience using browser automation tools such as Playwright for integrating with systems without APIs.

Exposure to operationally complex environments where data accuracy and process automation are critical.

Experience designing systems with future AI integration or data consumption in mind.
