Our client is the leading food-for-work marketplace technology company in the US, connecting workplaces that need food with a nationwide network of over 100,000 restaurant partners. They provide flexible, scalable solutions — from recurring employee meals to one-off events — backed by real 24/7 customer service, and give companies a single platform to manage their food spend. Catering delivery leaves no room for a second attempt — getting hot food through a loading dock, past security, and set up on time for a room full of people is a fundamentally different logistics problem than a single doorstep delivery, and off-the-shelf software was never built for it. Our client orchestrates this at national scale, every day, at a volume and complexity most people never see.

We're looking for a Senior/Staff Technical Product Manager to define and own the Experience Platform: the shared front-end foundation every customer-facing surface is built on. It composes and delivers applications, resolves what each customer is entitled to see, and exposes domain capabilities to web, native mobile, partner systems, and AI agents. This is the front-end scope of a multi-year program to re-platform the company onto a modern services architecture.

10+ years in product management, with deep experience on platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products. You will operate with significant autonomy, setting technical direction across an ambiguous, high-stakes domain rather than executing a defined roadmap

A CMS you've built or owned end-to-end, personalizing experiences using deep user and company data — not off-the-shelf, deeply integrated into a broader platform.

A context or session service you've built or owned, exposing user/company/session data to front-end applications for personalization.

A design system or component library you've productized, with real adoption across teams you didn't manage.

Deep API and event-driven design fluency: contract-first development, versioning and deprecation, aggregation layers and backends-for-frontends, idempotency, service boundaries, and schema governance. You can hold your own in a design review with senior engineers and you are comfortable reading an OpenAPI spec or an event schema as a primary artifact.

Comfort resolving identity and entitlement claims at the experience layer (sessions, tokens, locale, device, segment) — this role consumes and enforces entitlements at the edge; it does not own identity platform design.

Working knowledge of modern web delivery trade-offs: static/incremental/server/edge/client rendering, CDN caching strategy, Core Web Vitals, and an honest sense of what bundle size and hydration cost on a bad connection.

Hands-on experience with micro-frontend or multi-app composition — including its failure modes — and the judgment to argue for the simpler architecture when the sophisticated one would not pay for itself.

Experience with client instrumentation as a platform capability: event taxonomy, tag management, consent capture, and the privacy obligations that land on the front end rather than in a back-office system.

Accessibility and internationalization treated as platform capabilities that surfaces inherit, not as a checklist each team re-litigates.

Demonstrated influence without authority — you have driven architectural decisions across teams that did not report to you, and earned adoption from teams that could have said no

Deep analytic ability, and the instinct to go find the data quality problem first. Experience in B2B marketplaces, restaurant technology, or multi-tenant SaaS is a strong plus.

Every job requires English proficiency, being based in LATAM.

Bonus Skills

Headless commerce or headless CMS experience, and exposure to making product capabilities consumable by AI agents through MCP or a comparable interface.

Familiarity with edge platforms and managed front-end hosting — Cloudflare, Vercel, Netlify or similar — and a point of view on build versus buy for the delivery tier.

Experience with experimentation platforms and the discipline of running a real holdout rather than declaring victory from a dashboard.

Experience integrating a customer data platform or personalization service that someone else owns, where the work is resolving and applying the model inside the request path.

Embedded analytics and BI experience — semantic layers, row-level security, and customer-facing reporting delivered behind an entitlement boundary.

Experience with a monolith-to-microservices migration, or greenfield domain design inside an established business rather than a startup.

Time spent as an engineer, or close enough to it that you can read code and pull requests without a translator.

In this role, you'll be expected to take ownership of the following responsibilities as part of your day-to-day work:

Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our client's front-end Experience Platform — the shared stack, experience APIs, and governed contracts every product surface is built on.

Partner closely with the go-to-market product organization, anticipating their roadmap needs and deciding what belongs in the platform vs. a single product.

Define the experience domain from first principles (capability model, service boundaries, contracts) as a peer to principal engineers — writing specs engineers can build directly from.

Own the composition/rendering strategy across surfaces (static, incremental, server, edge, client), weighing latency, cache, personalization, and complexity trade-offs.

Define the experience API layer between domain services and consumers — aggregation, BFFs, versioning, and entitlement enforcement.

Own request-time context resolution: identity, session, entitlements, locale, device, and experimentation assignment.

Ensure every platform capability is accessible headless — via MCP or similar — for partners and AI agents, not just internal surfaces.

Own content/experience management as a product: enabling non-engineering teams to publish changes without an engineering deploy.

Own client-side instrumentation and measurement: event taxonomy, tagging, consent, and the experimentation/analytics infra built on top.

Drive SEO/discoverability strategy (technical SEO + GEO) with marketing and engineering.

Own build-vs-buy decisions across the delivery tier (CMS, hosting/edge, experimentation, CDP, analytics).

Sequence migration of front-end surfaces off the legacy stack, surface by surface, with clear interim and exit criteria.

Define and publish platform success metrics (Core Web Vitals, accessibility, time-to-first-experience, design system adoption).

Represent the platform at the executive level and build cross-team alignment without formal authority; occasional travel for planning/architecture reviews.
