The organization is building AI-powered automation for fashion and retail and is seeking a Clojure engineer with strong craftsmanship and a product-minded approach.
The team is developing AI workflows to generate outfit imagery, styled bundles, and “Complete the Look” recommendations at scale. This includes services that intelligently pair products to increase AOV and improve conversion, as well as human-in-the-loop review systems that combine AI and expert input to produce millions of styling outputs. They are also investing in vector search to enable semantic discovery and high-quality product similarity across the catalog. These capabilities are delivered via high-scale, production-grade APIs supporting 175+ enterprise retailers and 100M+ shoppers per month.
The role spans Clojure and ClojureScript, with a backend-heavy focus, and includes full ownership from data modeling and schema design through API development and internal tooling (including the review UI used daily by the team).
The engineering group includes 12+ Clojure developers and operates with a high degree of ownership and autonomy. The successful candidate will be comfortable making architectural decisions, moving quickly, and building reliable systems that scale.
