This role focuses on architecting and maintaining the integrations that connect core business applications to cloud data warehouses for a growing retail organization. You'll join a small, close-knit engineering team where you work directly with business stakeholders, not just execute predefined specs, building Python-based and low-code integrations, serverless automation, and reliable data pipelines using patterns like parameterized retrieval, transformation, and idempotent processing.

4+ years in Data Engineering

Data structures and data modeling experience.

Extensive use of third-party APIs — hands-on with Postman and at least one major integration development platform.

Deep knowledge of integration development patterns: parameterized retrieval, iteration, transformation, logical exclusion, aggregation, idempotency, and writing to destination systems.

Proficiency with Python and SQL.

Comfortable working with data formats: JSON, CSV, XML, AVRO, etc.

Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

Experience with a major data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar).

Familiarity with Standard Development Lifecycles (SDLC).

Every job requires English proficiency, being based in LATAM.

Bonus Skills

Experience working with standard retail data models.

Familiarity with Linux.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Working knowledge of Windows desktop/server operating systems.
