5+ years in Software Engineering

Strong full-stack engineering experience with clear depth in backend architecture, APIs, data, and integrations.

Strong professional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.

Strong hands-on experience building LLMs, AI agents, and agentic workflows in production.

Experience in an early-stage startup or serving as a technical lead.

Deep PostgreSQL and relational database experience, including data modeling and query optimization.

Bonus Skills

Experience building and operating production systems in AWS.

In this role, you'll be expected to take ownership of the following responsibilities as part of your day-to-day work:

Design, build, and integrate REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party services.

Build and operate scalable, reliable production systems on AWS infrastructure.

Perform PostgreSQL data modeling, schema migrations, query optimization, and performance debugging.

Design backend systems utilizing queues, background jobs, caching, retries, and error handling.

Own software through the full lifecycle from problem discovery to deployment and monitoring.

Build agentic workflows, prompt management, tool calling, and guardrails for production AI systems.

Orchestrate workflow automation using n8n and deterministic software integrations.

Utilize AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate development, debugging, and testing.

Investigate problems, communicate technical tradeoffs, and deliver pragmatic solutions.

Collaborate across teams to eliminate bottlenecks and automate repetitive workflows.
