7+ years in software engineering

Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations.

Working experience with React, TypeScript, and SQL, sufficient to stand up a working UI backed by a real data model

Experience with LLMs, testing, and prompt engineering, including work with Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI APIs

Demonstrated affinity for and experience with agentic software engineering — either on the job or on your own time.

Solid understanding of system design, scalability principles, use of APIs, and open-source packages

Demonstrated ability to evaluate model performance using structured test cases and metrics

Ability to operate independently with ambiguity in product definition

Judgment to know when to trust an LLM's output and when to challenge it — a foundation of actual engineering knowledge and experience, not just the ability to look things up

Every job requires English proficiency, being based in LATAM.

Bonus Skills

Experience building AI or LLM-powered products

Experience working in retail, e-commerce, or another applied AI/technology industry

Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills along with demonstrated strategic thinking abilities

Experience at a high-growth start-up and comfortable with the unknown

Working experience with building test workflows for LLMs

Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Java or Python for data processing or AI prototyping
