This position offers the opportunity to join a Platform Team building the core services, internal APIs, and data workflows that power a data-driven product. You’ll have the opportunity to design scalable, well-architected Python services with a strong focus on quality, performance, and maintainability.

This role focuses on enabling other engineering teams through reliable platform capabilities, improving developer experience, and shaping best practices across architecture, testing, and deployment. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to a platform that supports growth and efficiency at scale.

5+ years in Software Engineering with Python

Deep expertise in Python, including type annotations, async/await, and modern language features.

Proven experience designing and building APIs (REST or gRPC) with clear, well-defined contracts (OpenAPI).

Proficiency with polars, PyArrow, or Apache Iceberg for large-scale data processing.

Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery for data integration.

Proficiency with Docker and Git to support efficient development and delivery workflows.

Proven track record deploying and managing services on GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and GCS).

Ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable testing and deployment.

Comprehensive pytest suites with fixtures, parameterization, and mocking.

Experience with AI agent frameworks and LLM orchestration tools.

Every job requires English proficiency, being based in LATAM.

Bonus Skills

Exposure to modern Python tooling (e.g., uv) for efficient dependency management.

Comfort working with Bash to automate workflows and developer tasks.

Familiarity with code quality and static analysis tools (e.g., ruff, pyright).

Experience enhancing local development environments with Docker Compose.

Familiarity with MongoDB.

Solid grasp of Git workflows and best practices for maintaining clean history.

Experience contributing to team practices such as code reviews or architecture discussions.
