5+ years in Backend Engineering / DevOps role

Strong, hands-on experience with PostgreSQL specifically on AWS RDS and/or Aurora — this is the most critical requirement for the role.

Proven experience maintaining databases at the platform/infrastructure level: version upgrades, backups, high availability, disaster recovery, and proactive/reactive operational support (not just querying or schema design from the application side).

Experience with Ruby (strongly preferred) and/or Go.

Track record of executing database migrations with no or minimal downtime.

Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple product/engineering teams, not just within a single team's codebase.

Every job requires English proficiency, being based in LATAM.

Bonus Skills

Experience building internal tooling or platforms that other engineering teams self-serve from (provisioning, mocks, shared infra).

Background in Site Reliability Engineering, Database Administration, or Data/Platform Engineering in addition to backend development.
