After scaling its clinical operations, the company is now investing heavily in building a modern tech stack to measure therapy quality, generate actionable insights for clinicians, and validate outcomes—laying the foundation for an AI-powered clinical intelligence platform.

This role focuses on building the data foundation that connects every part of a growing clinical intelligence platform — from a nightly EHR pipeline and financial reconciliation engine, to a measurement-based care tool and an AI scoring system. You'll inherit real systems serving real patients, stabilize what's fragile, and design the architecture that ties everything together into a single source of truth. From day one, you'll work directly with the CEO as a technical thought partner — not executing a roadmap, but helping shape one.

You'll have the opportunity to grow into the role as the platform matures. This means going from technical lead to building and leading a small focused team, owning the data infrastructure for a company expanding across multiple states, and eventually contributing to the commercialization of a clinical intelligence product with real market potential.

7+ years in Full Stack Engineering.

Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js for backend APIs and React/Next.js for internal tooling.

Strong proficiency in SQL and BigQuery, with hands-on experience designing and maintaining data warehouse architectures.

Experience with Python for data pipelines, ETL processes, and system integrations.

Experience with PostgreSQL and Supabase or similar relational databases.

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure on GCP or AWS, including Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Track record of inheriting and stabilizing production systems built by others — without rewriting from scratch unnecessarily.

Ability to lead and review the work of other engineers, including setting architecture and direction.

Strong communication skills — able to translate technical decisions into business language for a non-technical CEO.

Comfortable operating with ambiguity, full ownership, and no existing team in the early months.

Bonus Skills

Experience with Python for data pipelines, ETL processes, and system integrations.

Hands on experience with financial data systems or data reconciliation engines.

Background in healthcare tech or familiarity with EHR systems.

Experience working with or reviewing AI/LLM engineers and prompt architectures.

HIPAA compliance awareness or experience in regulated healthcare environments.

Familiarity with Looker Studio or similar BI/dashboard tools.
