Join a growing engineering team building a brand-new financial product for a high-growth food-tech company. You'll work on a newly formed team building meal card functionality on a modern, Go-based platform — collaborating closely with a product manager and tech lead on a well-defined roadmap, while helping establish best practices for a platform that's still being shaped. This is a high-trust, high-correctness environment: the systems you'll help build handle real financial transactions, so precision, resilience, and a quality-first mindset matter as much as shipping speed.

5+ years in professional development experience, with a focus on backend technologies and building services using Go, Ruby on Rails or Java

Demonstrated success designing and consuming APIs (REST or GraphQL), plus working knowledge of relational SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).

Experience building systems in FinTech or financial systems where correctness and resilience matter — financial ledgers, payments, transaction processing, or similar domains with idempotency, reconciliation, and auditability requirements.

A quality mindset: automated testing, clean code, code reviews, and CI/CD basics.

Practical experience using feature flags, telemetry, and safe rollout techniques to ship incrementally and de-risk changes.

Track record collaborating with Product and Design to turn ambiguous problems into iterative deliveries and measurable outcomes.

Every job requires English proficiency, being based in LATAM.

In this role, you'll be expected to take ownership of the following responsibilities as part of your day-to-day work:

Build and maintain backend services in Go on a new internal platform (early-stage, standards still evolving)

Implement features for a financial product (meal cards) following a detailed roadmap already broken into milestones — most of the discovery/architecture work is done, so the focus is strong execution

Design and consume APIs (REST/GraphQL) that other teams and services depend on

Apply idempotency, reconciliation, and auditability practices to ensure correctness in transaction-related logic

Collaborate cross-team with other engineering groups as the platform integrates with broader company systems

Contribute to code reviews, testing practices, and incremental rollout (feature flags, telemetry) as the team's practices mature
