5+ years in Backend Engineer

Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, Python, and DynamoDB.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.

Experience with multi-threaded and real-time systems.

Strong experience with streaming video and audio technologies such as RTSP, RTP, SIP, H.264, H.265, and HLS.

Strong experience with core networking protocols including HTTP, TCP, UDP, and TLS.

Strong experience with A/V components and tools such as FFmpeg and Wireshark.

Strong knowledge of code security, data security, encryption, and privacy best practices.

Strong Linux operating skills and Bash or Python scripting experience.

Experience developing and testing server-side code, preferably using AWS infrastructure.

Solid knowledge of AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda.

Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or Harness.

Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Every job requires English proficiency, being based in LATAM.

Bonus Skills

Experience with software design patterns and distributed system architecture.

Experience working with firmware, mobile, client engineering, and DevOps teams.

Experience in IoT, smart home, video streaming, or security camera products.

Strong preference for candidates who value code reviews, continuous integration, automated testing, humility, respect, and continuous learning.
