New York, New York, United States (REMOTE)
A fast-growing, therapist-led mental health practice delivering personalized online psychotherapy across New York, with expansion underway into new U.S. markets. After scaling its clinical operations, the company is now investing heavily in building a modern tech stack to measure therapy quality, generate actionable insights for clinicians, and validate outcomes—laying the foundation for an AI-powered clinical intelligence platform.
This role focuses on rescuing and finalizing a working AI note audit pipeline — then building the clinical intelligence system that will define how therapy quality is measured and improved at scale. You'll be working directly with the CEO and a lead clinical expert to fix a known taxonomy problem, redesign the prompt architecture, and bring a system from unreliable demo to production-grade tool. Once that's done, this role shifts into building: a clinical note-taker used by real therapists, a session-level feedback loop, and eventually a product sold to practices across the industry.
You'll have the opportunity to own the full AI engineering stack — evaluation frameworks, structured output pipelines, training data quality, and iteration infrastructure — in a domain where accuracy genuinely matters. This isn't a role where you maintain someone else's system. You'll define how the system works, how it's tested, and how it improves over time.
