Development methodology

Two-week sprints, starting with a retrospective and followed by planning.

Tasks are estimated and assigned collaboratively as a team.

Ticket assignments prioritize balanced workloads and alignment with defined priorities.

Deployment process

Code is submitted for team members' review to maintain high-quality standards and ensure thorough validation.

Developers contribute to the review process by evaluating their colleagues' work.

Approved code progresses to the staging environment for comprehensive QA testing.

QA process

Automated testing frameworks, including end-to-end and unit tests, are being progressively implemented.

QA identifies and documents issues by creating detailed bug tickets or advancing tasks to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) stage.

Approved tasks are finalized and prepared for deployment.

A trunk-based deployment strategy is being adopted, with manual deployments to production for greater precision and control.

Since the start, I felt that the project matched a lot with me, the way of working, the size of the team and the project and how everything is done. I personally never liked working in big companies and large projects with insane bureaucracy, and I feel this company has the perfect project/size where devs have good independence, and each person is really considered on the decisions.
