The Senior Cloud Engineer leads the design, deployment, and management of complex cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. This includes driving Infrastructure as Code practices, building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, implementing security and governance frameworks, and acting as a senior technical resource for both internal teams and clients.

7+ years in Cloud Engineering

Solid experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with hands-on delivery across both AWS and Azure.

Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code is required, with hands-on experience in Terraform.

Familiarity with ARM/Bicep or CloudFormation.

Experience with Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Entra ID (Service Principals, Managed Identities), Security Center, Conditional Access, Policy, and Microsoft Intune.

Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation/CDK, AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Security Hub, and GuardDuty.

Proficient in PowerShell and/or Python scripting, with experience using Azure CLI, AWS CLI, and REST/Graph API integrations.

Solid understanding of security frameworks (NIST, CIS) and how they apply to cloud design decisions.

Working knowledge of AI/ML workload infrastructure, including API-connected services, compute requirements, and data architecture patterns that support AI deployment at scale.

Demonstrated experience creating architecture documentation, runbooks, and technical SOPs is required.

Strong client presence: executive-level professionalism, communicate effectively, can operate with limited direction, and consistently create meaningful impact.

Every job requires English proficiency, being based in LATAM.

Bonus Skills

Experience with advanced Azure networking, including VNet, vWAN, Firewall, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, and Private Link.

Background in AWS networking, including Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, WAF, and CloudFront.

Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights, as well as AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail.

Skilled in designing disaster recovery and backup strategies across cloud platforms.

Exposure to DevSecOps methodologies and toolchain integration.

Working knowledge of cloud cost management and FinOps practices (Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer).

Familiarity with identity platforms such as Okta, Duo, or similar IAM integrations.
