Boston, Massachusetts, United States (REMOTE)
A leading food-tech company powering workplace meals for organizations across the United States. Through its technology platform and network of 125,000+ restaurant partners, it helps businesses seamlessly manage everything from daily employee meals to large-scale events, delivering a reliable and scalable experience for both workplaces and restaurants nationwide.
Our client, a high-growth food-tech company transforming workplace dining, is migrating its systems onto Nova, a new modern services platform — moving away from its legacy architecture ("classic") piece by piece across domains like Search, Identity, Payments, and more.
Nova needs to answer a deceptively simple question on a recurring basis: how much of the company's code, services, and apps now run on Nova versus legacy — and is that number moving in the right direction, month over month. We're looking for someone to own that answer as a durable, trustworthy product: a Progress/Domain Index that holds up under both engineering scrutiny and executive reporting. This is a hands-on build role, not an advisory one — you'll instrument, query, and iterate directly, working quickly as domain definitions and rollup logic evolve. Despite the technical depth required, this role sits closer to data analytics than traditional observability/SRE work — the core skill is turning raw system data into a trustworthy, board-ready story, not managing infrastructure.
This is a 6-month project, with the possibility of an extension.
